Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)of the Bothlam Buidhe. All these weeds make the land poor. There is a herb with a yellow blossom known as St John's Wort. The roots of the Herb are boiled along with Primrose leaves and another herb as a cure for the jaundice. Nettles are also boiled and are very good for coughs. They are steeped in cold water over night and the water is drunk fasting in the morning and this is found to be very good for the Stomach. Dandelion leaves are sometimes used as a salad and Dandelion Wine is made from the yellow flowers which grows on the Dandelion.
