cottage in the district and the new ones are built altogether different. The land around the district is very good. The bog is not far away from the houses. It is called the Mynette bog. There are no woods or forests around the district. There is a river at the end of Ballinvalley adjoining the next district. There is only one shop in the district and it is a fairly big one too. There is a big stone built in the ditch near where my house is and it is said that Saint Brigid sat on it. There was never any arguments in the district. All the houses are by the side of the road except three houses. The school and the chapel are about half a mile from the district.
