    there is a place down Clonmell Lane and it is called the Old Chapel. Daddy (Michael Grattan, Clonmell) said that some man cut a tree in it and he was never without a headache since. There is one big tree in the middle of the old chapel and people say that a priest was hanged out of it.
    On the bog there is a big hole, a kind of cave about five feet deep and people say that a priest hid in it coming from saying Mass.
