  1. The name of my townland is Ballykelly in Sutton's Parish and the Barony of Shelburne. There are nineteen families in my townland. There are about eighty people altogether. There are sixteen slated houses and three thatched houses. There are five people over seventy living. They are, James Foley, Simon Hickey, Mrs Byrne, and Mr and Mrs Griffin. None of them speaks Irish.
    There is only one ruin in it. Part of Slievcoilthe is in Ballykelly and there is a lake from which there is a stream running to the Barrow.
