  1. "Peel and grate some raw potatoes. Put in a cloth and wring water out of them. Peel and bruise some boiled potatoes. Mix them with grated ones. Add a little flour, a pinch of salt, sweet milk and some of the starch that runs off water that was wrung out of potatoes. Mix all well and make into a stiff dough. Make little cakes out of this. Drop into boiling water and boil for an hour.
