  1. There is a fort in Ledwithstown. It belongs to Michael Creagan. There are fairies in it because a few years ago Michael Creagan had a mare and she had a sore leg.
    One night they went out to look at her and she was nowhere to be seen. The next morning when they went out again the mare was in the field and her leg was all bandaged up and it could not be disturbed and a few days after it was taken off by the fairies and it was better
