  1. One evening when the "Bags" McCormack, who lived near Mullingar, was returning to Mullingar he was told the guards were on duty. He got down off the cart, and he tied the ass to the tail of the cart. He got into the shafts and pulled it as far as the Green Bridge. He met a guard there and the guard said "Where is you light", The "bags" answered and said, "You had better "acquaint the driver".
