  1. There are two tailors in this district. Their names are Mr. Matthew Slevin, Streamstown, and Mr. James Rabbitt, Keel, Castletown-Geoghegan. These tailors work at home and they stock patterns. They get material from a firm in Dublin. The types of clothe used are Worsted Serges, Velour cloth, Serges, Irish Tweed, Herringbone, Breeches cloth, Corduroy and Irish Frieze.
    The tailor's implements are a sewing machine, thimble, needle, cutting shears, large scissors, small scissors, measuring tape, foot ruler, trouser's ruler, a square cutting table, and a bench to work on, a large heavy iron and a small one, duplex pressing board and lap board, a copy and a pencil for taking down measures, tailor's chalk, a square yard of cotton for damping and
