    In a forth called Rann Dúin there is a large amount of gold hidden in it. It is guarded by a big black cat with a star in his forehead. An ordinary bullet will not do to shoot the cat. The gun must be loaded with silver a threepenny piece a sixpence a shilling or anything else in silver that will fit in the gun. You must hit the cat on the star on the forehead or else it will be different you instead of the cat will be killed.
    In a field near Moylough there is a crock of gold hidden and it is guarded by a sow. One time a man from the County Roscommon dreamt about it for three nights in succession.
    In the dream he was told the way to go and when he would come to a certain house he was to go in and there he would see a basket of potatoes boiled and all. He was also told in the dream to bring the man of the house with him. The next day he started off. Tired and worn he reached the house and when he
