of them are very poor and some of them walking. Some of them have carts and asses to carry things they sell. The people give them alms, such as bread, flour and milk. They are generally thankful for the alms. They stay in one place for two or three days. They sleep out at night. Some of them have caravans which they sleep in. They go round in families and sometimes in ones or two's. They come to the pattern and to the fairs to sell little things. People buy them from them. They sell sweets and other things. They come here in summer. They tell stories.
