Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)were made of clay. Some of these houses had no chimney and the smoke had to go up through the ceiling. There were half - doors on these old houses and the people used to lean across them and have a good chat. They used to use turf and wood for the fire. Candles and rushlights were used by the people. The windows had no glass and they used to use cardboard instead.
