    There are not very many fairs held in Navan or Trim, but there are shows held in these towns.
    There are fairs held in Athboy on the first Saturday of each month.
    The stock usually sold at the local fairs are cattle, sheep and pigs.
    The toll was paid about thirty years ago. it was paid by the people who wanted to go out in the green for the upkeep of it.
