    The teams that played were:-
    Frayne v Rathmoline, Athboy v Higginstown, Ballivor v Coolroonan.
    There were seventeen men on each side.
    The teams were picked from outside the parish for example Frayne had men from Kildalkey.
    The most of the games were played in Frayne.
    A man named Tom Devine won fame on the field he lives in Pluxstown some of his nieces are coming to this school.
    Fraine played a game against Higginstown and beat them 10 pts to 9 points.
    Athboy and Higginstown played a game and Athboy won by 3 goals 4 points to 2 goals 10 points
    Rathmoline and Ballivor played a game and Ballivor won by 4 goals 4 points to 1 goal 7 points.
    The ball was never kicked across the country
