  1. The names of our farm animals at home are:- a cow, a horse, pigs, calves, ducks and hens.
    The cow's name is "Daisy".
    The cows are tied round the neck. The tyings are made of iron They are bought in the shop. People put a horse - shoe in the cow - house, because it is supposed to bring good luck. It is an old custom to sing while milking.
    The cow - house is 24 feet long and 17 feet broad. Its roof is made of Galvanise. There are two doors on it - one at the back and one at the front.
    It has a cement floor.
