  1. There is a big stone in Hand St. called Berills stone. They called it Berill's stone because as old woman named Berill lived in a little cottage beside it. The stone is a very large one. It is said that the fairies came every night and rolled the stone up and down Hand's St. for during the night it was seen in different places. The old lady died and the stone is there to this very day. The people still call Berill's stone.
