  1. Cloc Patrick is situated on the outskirts of Drogheda. It is a little boreen at the end of which is a large stone. Tradition tells that St Patrick knelt on the stone to pray on his way to Slane. There are two hollow marks on it where the Saint was supposed to have knelt to pray. Beside these is a little hollow where his crozier rested. In the summer tourists visit this spot.
