    by the banging of doors on the top part of the house. When they went down into the kitchen all the doors were open, and their furniture was greatly damaged. They were terror stricken and they immediately left. And so when anybody goes to live in it, they do not remain there long.
    The people then became afraid to pass the house, because the man's figure is supposed to be standing at the door every night.
