    They were captured on the "Doyles Fort" Road early in December 1922, and lodged in Dundalk gaol. They were taken to the Barracks and excuted there in January 1923. Their bodies were interred in the Barrack yard. They were later handed over to their relatives to be buried in the Republican Plot" in St. Patricks cemetry in Dowdallshill.
