  1. Old Forts.
There are the ruins of an old fort on Andy Moynihan's farm in Corballa.
It is composed of an old ring of earth surrounded by trees. It is said to be built by the Danes and some say there is gold buried.
There is an opening of about four yard wide in the gateway. There are about ten trees growing round it and others have been cut down.
It is said to be connected with a fort in a neighbouring farm by an underground channel.
