  1. St Johns Well, the rear of the Protestant Church in Clonoulty, Co. Tipperary. There are no annual visits now.
    A tailor, a mute(?), who presently resides in the parish, was unable to walk until he reached the age of Six. His mother carried him to the well on three occasions and on the last occasion he was able to walk home with slight.
    His brother James Keogh, related this story to me.
    The tailors name is William Keogh. He afterwards became dumb from the effect of a mishap.
