  1. About two miles from Golden there are two trees hanging over each other forming a roof. A poor old man lived under these trees because there was good shelter under them.
These trees were on land belonging to a landlord so when he heard about the man staying on his land he became furious. One day while the landlord was walking through the field he saw the man and fired a shot at him.
The bullet went through the man's chest killing him immediately. The poor man is seen there very often and a noise is also heard there.
