  1. The Shack.
    About two miles on the north side of the village of Golden there are still to be seen the remains of an old castle which is commonly known as "The Shack".
    In this old castle there lived a man named Lord Fitzgerald. There lived near by a woman and her son who was always 'slinging' from school. The woman went for advice to the Lord and he told her to bring up her son that evening.
    When they arrived at the castle the woman was taken into a room where she was told to remain. when she was sent for she was taken
