    A Collection of Prayers
As I lay on my side to sleep as Jesus did on Mary's knee. When I am asleep and cannot see, wake up Jesus and pray for me.
There are four corners on my bed, there are four Angels over-spread. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. God bless this bed that I lay on, and If I die before I wake I pray to God my soul to take. When I go to my bed I go to my grave; if any of these evils waken me O Sweet Jesus waken me. The five bleeding wounds that were nailed to a tree O Merciful Jesus have mercy on me, my soul and my body. I resign unto thee.
