  1. Not many years ago there lived in the district a man who was very hard on his servants.
    One evening when he was making hay, the Angelus bell rang and pretending it was a funeral bell he said to his servant-man "I wonder who is being brought to the chapel to-night".
    "Muise, whoever it is I'm going to the funeral", replied the servant, putting his hay-fork on his shoulder and walking away.
