  1. Patrick looney of Grangemockler cures farsey in horses. He uses dog roots which he prepares by peeling. He makes a small cut in the horse's breast and places the dog roots inside the skin. He then draws the skin together with a common pin and leaves it like this for two days. The pin is then removed and the horse is worked so that the medicine will go through the system.
