    Parish - Kilcommon.
    Barony - Owney and Ara.
    There was a town there long ago and it got its name from it. It contains fourteen houses and fifty six people live there. All the houses are slated. Two people over seventy years live there, namely - Mrs Dwyer, Bealaclave, Rearcross, Newport, Co. Tipp. Mrs Russell, Bealaclave, Rearcross, Newport, Co. Tipp. There are ruins of houses to be seen yet. The land is boggy and wet.

    Barony - Owney & Ara
    It is very mountainous and that is how it got its name. There are eighteen houses in it. Nearly all the houses are slated. One man over seventy years lived there namely Thomas Dwyer, Foilduff, Rearcross, Newport, Co. Tipp.
    Some ruins are to be seen yet. The land is very mountainous and boggy.
