  1. Newbridge is my town land and it is in the parish of Coolcappagh. There are about eighteen families living in it. The most of the houses are slated. Newbridge got its name by building a new bridge some years ago. The most common name in the town land is Walsh and Casey. There are four people in this town,and over seventy years of age.
    The Deel passes Newbridge and it is a great place for trout and salmon fishing and also for bathing in the summer time.
    The land around Newbridge is fairly level
