    There was a large space in the old forge and it had no door. There was only one window, and this was without glass or shutters.
    For years this forge was as described, and never was and never were any of the smith's implements interfered with although these were not closed in.
    The work had to be done in former years by the hand.
    All nails required were made by the blacksmiths and the iron for making horse shoes wire large iron bands, at present the iron is ground by machinery.
    The bellows used in the old forge, was hand made and was worked by the hand.
