Saturday will never be completed. People do not pay bills on a Monday as they would be spending money all the week. Some children do not go to school on a Monday.
Monday, Tuesday and Sunday is supposed to be very lucky. The old rhyme goes:
Monday’s Child is fair of face,
Tuesday’s Child is full of grace,
Wednesday’s Child is full of woe,
Thursday’s Child has far to go,
Friday’s Child is loving and giving,
Saturday’s Child works hard for a living.

The lucky days for getting married are:
    Monday for health
    Tuesday for wealth
Wednesday the best day of all
    Thursday for crosses
    Friday for losses
    Saturday no luck at all.

Plants - The potatoes should be set before the 17th March and not later. Plants set on Good Friday will be sure to grow.

Michaelmas is the “Harvest of the Geese”. The first goose of the year is eaten that day. It occurs on the 29th of September.
