    I was informed that there was a person quarrying stones near Castlelyons Castle and bones were found...

    "I was informed that there was a person quarrying stones near Castlelyons Castle and the bones were found of a human body, the work was discontinued then and the place was covered up."
    N. Daly G.N.S. astlelyons. Std VI got above from her uncle D. Keefee who is a native of this parish. It was her grandfather and grand uncle who were quarrying the stones there when the bones were found.
