    There was a man living long ago and he dreamt that he would find money near a stone and that there was a knife up on the stone and when he went to look for it his wife came running to him and she said that the child was dead. The people said the money wasn't for him at all.

    There is a Coill near our house...

    There is a Coill near our house and if you are coming over there about twelve oclock at night, you would see a ghost there. And there were tinkers went in there one night and the ghosts and the fairies hunted them out of it. And they had to get up in the middle of the night and went away out of it and never came there since.

    There is a woman living in Mitchelstown...

    There is a woman living in Mitchelstown and she washed clothes in St. Fanachan's well and the well moved about a mile. The woman had never luck after.
