  1. In the time of the White Boys there lived in Freemount an old couple who amassed a considerable amount of money during their life time. They had a large extent of land, eighty acres, or thereabouts, and besides they carried on the business of bakery. The family was not large consisting only of two sons and one daughter.
    The house where this family lived was on the road leading to the Catholic Church from Freemount Village. It was a low thatched house, but was always neatly kept. The kitchen was fairly large with
