  1. Ben Riordan who had the nickname of "Ben the bonnet" went for a load of turf to Stephen Donohue's bog. Stephen was known as "Stephen the cap".
    As Ben was filling the load Stephen came up to him and asked him was the turf dry. Ben said "it would if I could put a cap on it". Stephen said "Why wouldn't you put a bonnet on it".
