  1. When the Holy Family were on their flight to Egypt, Herod sent his soldiers after them to capture the (the) child Jesus as they failed to do so in Nazareth.
    The Holy Family passed by a field in which men were sowing corn. Immediately the corn sprang up and ripened. Herod's soldiers on reaching the field asked the men did they see any people pass this way, the men said "We did when we were sowing the corn "Oh" said the soldiers "we cannot overtake them now"
    With that the 'darbh-daol' stuck up its head at the corner
