    Sores.
    Make a poultice of soap, sugar and cream.
    Ring-worm or Wildfire.
    Put a circle of ink round it to prevent it, spreading.
    Whooping Cough.
    Get a piece of swede turnip and spread brown sugar on it, place it in a saucer and leave for 24 hours. The Juice that comes out of, drink it.
    Burns.
    (1) Rub olive oil and bandage
    (2) Rub hog's hard, that there is no salt in, to the burn.
    Sore throat
    Poultice it with dried, hot salt or hot meal.
    A sty in your eye.
    (1) Rub your fasting spittle to it 9 mornings after each other.
    (2) Wash your eyes with cold tea in the morning.
    A cold.
    (1) Boil an onion in milk and drink it going to bed.
    (2) A cup of hot milk with some butter in it.
