    And e'er noon gentle Phoebus
    May brilliantly glow.
    For there is many a handsome swaine
    Would rather you for to obtain
    Just as you stand nor fortune claim
    But a plain suit of clothes
    Than with another go and get with them

    The truth alone I'm stating
    No scheme for to impose
    Kind sir, I feel indicted
    To your clever conversation
    Your plaudits beyond praising
    And bearing such force
    And teeming with flattery
    I cannot entertain it
    Being mindful of the danger
    Attending that course.
    For 'tis young men's inconsistency
    That leaves me in despondency
    I'll tell you plain and candidly
    What of them I know.
