A man named Denis O'Leary or Donnchadha na gCearcach was a rag dealer in Kilcorney long ago.
The coins which have gone out of use are a [?], four shilling piece, a crown, a tenpenny bit, a thirteen penny bit, a guinea in gold, and a coin smaller than a farthing called a carley [?] which was equal to half a farthing.
