  1. There was a heavy snowfall on the 11th February 1897. It was the year John Turss was hanged. The fields, ditches and houses were all the same height. It remained on the ground until May.
    There was big snowfall in 1867. It remained on Muisire until July. There was 100 feet of snow in places The farmers lost what they had.
    A great storm occurred on the 1st January 1915.
