  1. About fifty years ago the minister in Goleen was Mr. Tripuc[?] and the priest in Goleen was Fr Forest. In that parish lived a Protestant woman whose daughter had a very sore eye which caused it to be blind. Her mother took her to the minister but as he could do nothing for her she took her to the priest and the priest cured the eye. When her Protestant friends heard she took her daughter to the priest they were very angry so she took the girl to the minister again although the eye was cured long before
