  1. In the land of mr Murphy Ballymichael, there is a filed called Cnoc an Tobar, which means the hill of the well.
    There is a holy well in the corner of the field where people go every year to pay rounds on the eight of September.
    The sign of the Blessed Virgins knee is (on) in a stone on the brow of the well.
    There is a big bush of furze about nine or ten yards away from the well; where a grey hare is seen: and when she is started, she will run a short distance, and then she disappears.
    There are a lot of hounds after trying to kill her, but they all failed.
