  1. Shops were plentiful long ago. There were two shops in Reentrisk and one in Barnes. There were shops also in Cluin. The people bought their goods in those shops. Articles were not sold near the church. Money was plentiful long ago. It was money they gave for goods long ago. They did not work for goods. There was not any misluck on any day but it was said that things you buy from a deceitful shopkeeper were unlucky. They sold things on Sundays also. Long ago they salted the butter and put it into ferkins and brought it to
