    Years ago a small fairy cow lived in one of them. The poor people of the neighbourhood went daily to milk her. She filled pail after pail with rich milk.
    Everyone was praising her and said she could fill any vessel that was put under her no matter how big it was. A wicked old man was listening and said that he would bring a vessel she would not fill.
    So he took with him a sieve and started to milk. Of course all the milk went through to the ground. The old man boasted of
