  1. Runnabracken
    The village of Runnabracken where I live is situated in the valley which runs parallel with the historic hill of Oran. In this village are the remains of seven forts which can be seen to the present day. They are supposed to be haunted and people will not approach them after dark.
    This is an experience which I had in company with some pals. One evening at dusk as we were returning from play we looked towards the forts and in the centre of one was a strange figure. We jumped to our feet and started for home. On crossing a ditch I looked back and saw the strange thing
