  1. Water in a crack or hollow of a stone is supposed to be a cure for warts if they are dipped in it three times.
    If one rubs a snail on a wart it will cure it.
    If one licks a wart three times every day it is supposed to cure it.
    People say if you rub a black snail to a wart it is gone the next day.
    If one rubs a black snail on a wart and then puts the snail on a hawthorne bush, when the snail is withered away the wart will be gone but one must find the snail when one is not looking for it.
    Donkey's milk is supposed to be good for the Whooping Cough.
    If you pass a child under an ass three times it will cure Whooping Cough.
