  1. There is a big hill in the town land of Rearymore called the Watch Hill.It was called the Watch Hill because soldiers watched from it long ago.It is said there is a light to be seen on that hill every night. One night as a soldier was lighting his pipe he was shot and the light remained there.
    There is a large wood on top of the hill. A coffin was seen on the top of the hill with four lighted candles on it. It went a short distance and then disappeared into the wood. There is and underground tunnel from the Watch Hill to Ballygilaheen, which is a town land beyond Reary.
