    Sprains
    If a person had a sprain in the wrist, to rub goose greece constantly into it, was a good cure.
    Sunburn
    Many people wer obliged to work in the sun and often got sunburnt. Well, these always found that a good wash in butter-milk, alawys took the scald away.
    Whitloes & Boils
    A poultice of hot linseed meal was applied when a person had a whitloe. The same thing was used for boils.
    Rash
    Cream was applied when a person had a rash. It was rubbed well into the sores.
    Goitre
    When a person had a touch of goitre, he rubbed lemonade into that part, constantly, and it soon disappeared.
    Rheumatism
    To eat boiled rhubarb, was a cure for rheumatism.
