There is a rath in the towns-land of Firoda and it is in a circle. A light is to be seen there now and again. There was a man named John Shore who was ploughing around the rath. When it was dark that night he went home. Next morning he came to plough again and he saw a sod ploughed around the rath telling him that he was not to plough inside that. He paid no heed to it only kept ploughing. When he had finished ploughing he went home. That night he went to bed and never got up untill he died.
