    in the townsland - known as Flemings, Foleys, Haydens, Roches, and Morrisseys. There was only one man living in Flemings who when his house fell into ruinsd emigrated to America. The Hayden family died out of the house and as there was nobody left of the family to look after the house it fell into ruins, and the land was sold. The Foley family owned a little shop beside the road. They sold bread, tobacco, candles, matches, sweets and other little things. This family finding they could not make sufficient money to keep up the house and family, also emigrated. As for the other two families I do not know what became of them.
