    daisies. In the big house that night there was also a party and a dance which was to stop at twelve oclock. A fiddler from the village close to the big house played the music for the dancers. All was over and the people were all gone home before twelve oclock struck. The fiddler who was know as "Patsy the fiddler" was kept after the rest to receive some refreshment. After a few glasses of punch Patsy put his fiddle under his arm and set off for home On his way he passed the wood where the lurgadan's held their dance. As Patsy came along he tucked his fiddle under his chin and started a lively tune a "reel" or a "double" The lurgadan's head the music & thought it was their own fiddler who was coming, as up to that he had not put in an appearance They commenced to dance and were in the height of it when Patsy came round the bend and saw
