  1. In my district there is a very old church yard it is situated near the road.
    One night a very old man was coming home from the village, his brother was dead a couple of years and was buried in that grave-yard and as the old man was passing his brother appeared in priest's clothes and walked beside him until he came to the end of the church-yard. Then he vanished. The old man went home and never went out at a late house any other night.
    One night at twelve o clock a man went out to look at his horse which was in a field about a quarter of a mile away. He had to pass an old shed, as he was passed he heard a footstep behind him he did not mind it. Then he came to his horse he was allright. As the man was coming home he heard a loud whistle a number of horses came running round him and men with red coats and trousers on them and they carried red lights
